Parental Control

BullGuard Although there are many parental control options, very few of them actually work.

BullGuard provides four main features that protect desktop users.

• Filters. Certain types of websites are blocked
• Access. Access restrictions
• Apps. Passwords can be used to block certain apps.
• Privacy. Protects web browsers from keywords and other data.

BullGuard blocks many websites which offer pornographic or pirated content. BullGuard blocks many websites offering pirated software or pornography. This is not true.

I was however able to add potentially dangerous sites to a block list and whitelist websites that BullGuard didn’t need to block.

You can limit internet access and device usage with Access. I do wish certain applications could be limited in time. Norton 360 has parental controls that allow me to do so.

Privacy filters block children from entering credit card numbers online. It enabled me to enter my credit cards details into Amazon.com/Gmail.

BullGuard provides parental controls for Android users. BullGuard’s dashboard allows you to manage all of them online.

• Send your phone a message to initiate an anti-virus scan.
• Track your phone’s location.
• You can send commands to locate your phone and erase it.
• View photos. Monitor installed apps. View your child’s smartphone.

My mobile parental control was too restricted. I was able to check which apps my child had installed and what photos they had saved. Bitdefender and the other parental control apps available for mobile devices have the exact same functionality as the desktop versions. But, children can’t remove the apps or prevent them from accessing them. You can also block certain websites and apps.

BullGuard parental controls are extremely basic, but offer a lot of functionality. BullGuard offers parental controls.

Secure Browser

BullGuard secure web browser testing ensures that only trusted domains are being used by your browser. Secure browser protects you from hijackers trying to steal your passwords and credit card information.

The secure browser blocks known websites that are phishing and those that contain malware scripts and files. Check out our list to find a safer browser than BullGuard.

BullGuard’s secure Web Browser can be used for security purposes but is not recommended for daily use.

Identity Protection

BullGuard ID Protection scans credit bureaus and forums looking for personal identifying data. It is better than Norton, TotalAV and TotalAV which offer only ID theft protection for US users.

The dark web monitoring service only checks email addresses against www.haveibeenpwned.com. This is BullGuard’s identity-theft tool.

Premium Protection does not include BullGuard ID security. But, Premium Protection does not include BullGuard ID protection.

BullGuard VPN (Separate Purchase).

BullGuards VPN works quickly and is safe. It is compatible for Netflix and other streaming services. Unfortunately, it isn’t yet available to purchase. It has AES encryption with 256 bits and no-logs policy. The kill switch can also be used to cut off your internet connection in the event of a downtime.

BullGuard VPN operates servers in 16 countries. Antivirus VPNs, such as Norton Secure VPN, are available in more countries than 30. While standalone VPNs, such as ExpressVPN and Norton Secure VPN, can be found only in 90 countries.

BullGuard VPN offers very fast speeds. It didn’t cause slowdowns or lags. There were speed drops when I was connected remotely. This is normal. I also was able to view video with very little buffering.

These speed tests were performed when I was connected with a remote server.

As you can see, I was able to download faster from Australia’s remote server than when I connected to my local host. However, I was capable of downloading faster from Australia’s remote server. Streaming and browsing had a significantly lower ping. It took pages and videos around 15 seconds for them to load.

BullGuard makes streaming of streaming services like Netflix easy.

BullGuard VPN is available separately from BullGuard antivirus plans for a comparable price to standalone VPN competitors.

BullGuard VPN has been my favorite antivirus VPN. It is hard to justify paying more for a VPN with more servers or more features. However, it is definitely worth it.

Additional Features

BullGuard offers a few additional features, such as

• Vulnerability scanner. This will help you identify any vulnerabilities on your computer like pending Windows Updates or unsigned Drivers.
• Cloud backup. Google Drive can be used to store photos, documents and music. DropBox. OneDrive.

BullGuard’s vulnerability scan can be extremely helpful. Unpatched flaws are the most common vector for malware infiltration. It is always a good idea if you have an extra layer of protection for your program.

Only users who have already signed-up for a cloud backup provider can access cloud backup tools. BullGuard doesn’t require this subscription.

BullGuard’s interface is simple to use and configure

BullGuard’s interface doesn’t look the best. It is not easy to use and has too many features. Dropdown menus conceal some of the most important settings.

Scheduling scanning can be more complicated than necessary.

Here’s how you can schedule a scan. Click on the Antivirus tab. Click “Settings”. “

To continue, I needed to go into the antivirus settings. Click on Manage Profiles.

I was then taken to another window, which allowed me personalize the scans as well as set up scheduling.

The interface is not as intuitive as it should. BullGuard’s interface can be confusing, especially when Norton and Kaspersky offer intuitive software.

BullGuard installation is quick and easy. The virus definitions are automatically updated after you create an account so that you can immediately start a scan.

BullGuard Mobile App

BullGuard Android Safety Premium includes an excellent Android security program. Premium protection includes Internet Security.

iOS doesn’t offer an app. However, we do recommend the top iOS internet security applications.

BullGuard’s Android App has many useful features.

• Mobile malware scanner.
• Anti theft protection.
• Parental controls. Location tracking and call monitoring are also included.
• Cloud Backup. Sends emails and calendars to an encrypted server.

I tested the Android app using my Huawei Lite P30. It’s very easy to locate the features, and the design of the application is excellent.

BullGuard’s mobile security management (BullGuard’s online dashboard) has many excellent anti-theft and anti-theft functions.

I gave permission for anti-theft software to locate and wipe the device.

BullGuard located me on my phone and pointed out where I was. It was unbelievable!

I couldn’t find a way for my device to be locked using the web app. Bitdefender and security companies offer remote locking.

BullGuard’s mobile application works well overall. BullGuard’s mobile app was great. The theft protection and the antivirus scanner were both excellent.

BullGuard provides several customer support options.

BullGuard offers live chat in English (Danish, Dutch), French, and Dutch. It is simply amazing.

I spoke to the operator via chat, and also tried the email support (available only for Chinese + language above), but I did not get a response within 4 days. BullGuard’s chat service is excellent. BullGuard’s support via email is not what I consider to be helpful.

To make an appointment, I phoned and received live support within an hour. He took control over my computer and ran an extensive malware scan. The agent discovered the test files hidden and charged $3 more per month. It costs $3 per month more.

Forums can also be a great place to ask for help and get answers. I received a reply from BullGuard customer care in less than one hour.

BullGuard. Is it one the best antiviruses in 2022?

BullGuard, a powerful antimalware scanner, is the best gaming mode.

BullGuard’s machine-learning software is able to detect and remove all types of malware. I tried the game booster feature during gameplay.

BullGuard has many other top-quality features. The firewall and network monitor provide the best protection against network intrusions and backdoor attacks. Identity theft protections offer users the ability to access up-to date information on credit changes and protect them against identity theft.

BullGuard’s Android app is excellent. It provides a virus scanner as well as decent parental control.

BullGuard Mac has some issues with its anti-virus program that I do not like. It does not include an iOS app, so it can be confusing to use.

BullGuard, a security tool that works for Windows and Android users, is great. BullGuard is my favourite security program for Android and Windows. McAfee Premium and Norton have similar features.

BullGuard plans offer a 30-day guaranteed. There is no risk involved so it’s worth looking.
