BullGuard Despite the existence of many parental controls, not all work.

BullGuard contains four main features designed to protect desktop users.

• Filters. Blocks certain types of websites
• Allows access. Limits devices to certain hours in each day or week
• Apps. Some apps can be blocked if you set a password.
• Privacy. Prevents keywords/data from being sent by web browsers.

BullGuard blocks many websites that provide pirated or pornographic material. Unfortunately, this is not true.

However I was able whitelist dangerous sites and add them to a blocked listing that BullGuard doesn’t need.

You can restrict internet access, device usage and device usage withAccess. Norton 360’s parental controls let me do that

Privacy filter prevents children from entering their credit card information online. It allowed my credit card details to be entered into Amazon.com/Gmail.

As you can see from the photos above, connecting to a local host did not affect my internet speed. However, I was capable of downloading faster from Australia’s distant server.

The cloud backup tools are available only to those who have already signed-up for a cloud backup provider. Each backup service has its own app.

BullGuard makes it easy to set up.

BullGuard’s interface does not look very attractive. Dropdown menus conceal the most important settings.

Scheduling scanners can, for instance be more complicated than necessary.

BullGuard Android Security Premier includes an outstanding Android security app. Internet Security.

iOS doesn’t have an app.

BullGuard’s Android Application has many helpful features.

• Mobile malware scanner.
• Anti theft protection.
• Parental supervision. This includes location tracking and call monitoring.
• Cloud back-up. Sends contacts, emails, and calendars to an encryption server.

The Android application was tested with my Huawei P30 Lite. It is easy to find features and the design looks amazing.

BullGuard’s mobile security software (BullGuard’s web dashboard) has many anti-theft and theft features.

I have granted permission for the anti theft tools to locate my device and wipe it.

BullGuard tracked my phone to pinpoint where I was.

I could not find a web app that would allow me to lock my phone. Bitdefender and other security firms allow remote locking.

I spoke with the operator through live chat. I tried email support, which is only available for Chinese + languages. However, I didn’t get a reply within four business days. BullGuard chat support is excellent. BullGuard also offers email support, but this is not something that I find useful.

I called live support to make an appointment. He took control over my computer and ran an extensive malware scan. I was charged $3 more per months.

These forums are great places to ask questions and get answers. Customer support at BullGuard responded within hours.
