BullGuard Despite the existence of many parental controls, not all work.

BullGuard contains four main features designed to protect desktop users.

• Filters. Blocks certain types of websites
• Allows access. Limits devices to certain hours in each day or week
• Apps. Some apps can be blocked if you set a password.
• Privacy. Prevents keywords/data from being sent by web browsers.

BullGuard blocks many websites that provide pirated or pornographic material. This is not true.

BullGuards VPN operates fast and securely.

BullGuard VPN operates in 16 countries. Independent VPNs like ExpressVPN can be found in over 90 countries.

BullGuard VPN offers very fast speeds. However, there were noticeable speed drops when connected remotely.

As you can see from the photos above, connecting to a local host did not affect my internet speed. I was able, however, to download faster from Australia’s remote server.

BullGuard includes a few additional features such as

• Security scanner. These will identify potential vulnerabilities in your computer like unsigned drivers or Windows updates.
• Cloud backup. DropBox. OneDrive.

BullGuard’s vulnerability scanner can prove to be very useful. It is always a good idea have an additional layer to protect your software.

The cloud backup tools are available only to those who have already signed-up for a cloud-backup service.

BullGuard makes it easy to set up.

BullGuard’s interface does not look very attractive. Dropdown menus conceal the most important settings.

Scheduling scanners can be more complicated than they need to.

Here’s how to schedule an antivirus scan: Click on the Antivirus tab. Click on “Settings” ” “

Then, I had to go to the antivirus settings and click “Manage Profiles”.

Afterwards, I was taken through another window that allowed to personalize scans and set scheduling.

It’s not as user-friendly as it could be. BullGuard’s interface may be confusing and cumbersome, especially since Norton and Kaspersky have more intuitive software.

BullGuard installation requires only a few mouse clicks.

BullGuard Mobile App

BullGuard Android Security Premier includes an outstanding Android security app. Internet Security.

iOS doesn’t have an app.

BullGuard’s Android Application has many helpful features.

• Mobile malware scanner.
• Anti theft protection.
• Parental supervision. This includes location tracking and call monitoring.
• Cloud back-up. Sends contacts, emails, and calendars to an encrypted web server.

I tested the Android application with my Huawei P30 Lite. It’s very easy to find features, and the design of the application is excellent.

BullGuard’s mobile security software (BullGuard’s web dashboard) has many anti-theft and theft features.

I have granted permission for anti theft tools to locate my device and wipe it.

BullGuard tracked my phone to pinpoint where I was.

I could not find a web app that would allow me to lock my phone. Bitdefender and other security firms allow remote locking.

BullGuard’s mobile app works fantastic overall. BullGuard acted quickly and responsively on my Android.

BullGuard offers excellent live chat services in English, Danish and Dutch. It is amazing.

I spoke with the operator through live chat. I tried email support, which is only available for Chinese + languages. However, I didn’t get a response in four days. BullGuard chat support is excellent. BullGuard also offers email support, but this is not something that I find useful.

I called live help to make an appointment. He took control over my computer and ran an extensive malware scan. I was charged an additional $3 per calendar month.

These forums are great places to ask questions and get answers. Customer support at BullGuard responded within hours.

BullGuard is an excellent VPN provider.
