These were just a few things that caught my attention:

Comodo is able to fill that gap. Comodo’s Application Control allows users the ability to lock down their system, and to only allow them to use trusted programs.

Comodo goes above and beyond to create user interfaces that are both visually and functionally appealing.

Apart from “Game Mode”, the ability to launch a scan in one click was my favorite feature. You could also control the frequency and display time of popup notifications. You can also select a theme.

Some antivirus companies only want to deliver a great product under the hood. However, Comodo continues to be the best in UI design for their industry.

Comodo provides support to its customers via its online portal. Comodo’s online portal offers both a ticket answering and livechat window. This has earned it a reputation for being responsive. Most tickets get a reply within an hour, mine took less. I was able to speak with a livechat representative in ten minutes.

Summary

Comodo Antivirus has existed for over a decade and has a large following of both fans and skeptics. Comodo is a free program that offers a simple interface and a complete version. But, the features of Comodo are not as good as I expected. The design is also outdated and it flags lots of false positives. This makes me doubt its level of security.
