TotalAV’s Application Uninstaller function may help you free up space or uninstall outdated software.

Windows’ operating systems allows you to uninstall specific applications. The Windows “Add or Remove Programs” option is not my favorite. This makes it difficult to remove multiple applications. TotalAV allows you to view and uninstall all your programs.

The Browser Cleanup tool helps you keep your online activity private. TotalAV can clear all cookies in your web browser.

TotalAV’s duplicate-file Finder allows you to locate duplicate files and remove them from your hard drive. This function doesn’t work with Windows’s standard Disk Cleanup.

Junk Cleaner is able to clean out junk files left over from updating or removing an app. These files can take up a lot of space on your computer. Windows Disk cleanup only found 30MB of TotalAV’s junk files.

TotalAV’s system tuning options aren’t particularly innovative. But they work well, are simple to navigate, and I love the ease of having them all in one spot on my computer.

Safe Browsing works just like any other virtual private networks (VPN). It reroutes all traffic from one server to another. It effectively replaces an IP address for a user with a shared Address from TotalAV’s Servers.

LastPass and Dashlane, two of the most well-known password managers available, are Dashlane and Dashlane. They have security features such as biometric login and multi-device password sync. TotalAV’s Password Vault does not have these useful extras.

TotalAV’s Password Vault handles basic password management very well. TotalAV was able generate complex passwords, store them safely in my vault, and auto-fill any saved logins. TotalAV’s Password Management is not perfect but that I can accept. However, it does not have a mobile edition.

This is why I think it is so important. For all things, I use my password management program. I created passwords for all my accounts on social media, financial apps, as well as logins to Slack/Asana at Work and streaming services. I surf the web quite often with my phone. My password manager contains all of my complex passwords. My password-protected account passwords aren’t accessible if my phone doesn’t allow me to access my password management.
